Thanks very much! I consider this a transition piece. I did this one when I was just beginning to understand 3-point lighting and starting to develop my own lighting technique. I had also just purchased my first digital art tablet, and was experimenting and learning digital painting. I painted the strings that Leena is holding in her fingers, and the shadows of the strings. I was very proud of myself at the time, lol.

 

Most of the renders I did around this time have this brownish-red tint to them. I was using colored directional lights to bring out certain skin tones before I understood ambient lighting, sub-surface scattering, and specular light.
