This is a concept/promo image from The Androssian Prophecy, showing Leena Alaein during the Border Wars, which pitted humans against tuatha near the town of Treverium. This was 32 years before the beginning of the story, before she was selected by Kallian and Andross for the Guardians. Leena led vicious attacks against humans, and did not distinguish between warriors and women and children. The conflict originally erupted between a warlord of Treverium and the neighboring tuatha, however, Leena's extreme brutality was the principal cause for the escalation of the war, eventually involving all of the northern kingdoms. The Scepter of Science finally had to intercede to put an end to the bloodshed.
