No, most of this one is actually rendered. I think the trick is to render in large resolution. I render everything around 5000 pixels wide. You have to have good light too. Try adding a specular light.
Wow,this is wonderful! I just discovered your profile today and I am just blown away. This one in particular calls to me because it reminds me of a character I created for gaming that I hold close to my heart. I know from looking at your other pics of Tala that she's not in full plate, but the angle of this one gives the feel that she is and I love it! If you don't do this professionally you should! I must know your plans for your art! Do you think you'd ever do commissions??
Thank you! It's really cool to create something that someone else can connect with. One of the girls from my rpg plays this character. I actually wanted her in full plate for this pic, so I positioned her to give the appearance of it. I don't do this professionally but I would like to some day. Right now I just enter random contests. I seem to win enough every month from DAZ to be able to purchase more models, lol. I wouldn't mind doing some commissions.
Well, as soon as I get my new computer, I was hoping to try my hand at animating with Daz and was thinking I could commission you to make me some models to use. Does that sound like something you'd be interested in?
Yeah, I've used Daz before and couldn't quite make the characters come out like I wanted them to, so I thought I might give you descriptions of characters I need and then have you put them together for me and send me the saves and I'd use them in my animations! I don't know that much about Daz so I'm not sure if that's even possible, but that's what I had in mind. I'll have to wait though, see if my new comp can handle all that business! ^_^
